So two more days makes it 2 weeks that I haven’t lost a pound. Not one single pound. I’ve been eating very healthy (like almost completely clean), working out every single day and nothing. I lowered my calories, upped them, worked out more, worked out less. Nothing. I’m honestly so frustrated and I have no idea what to do.

So.. I’m going to take a few days off, maybe a week, and be more lenient with what I’m eating. By that I don’t mean I’m going to eat crap, just that I’m not going to be as strict as I was before. For a month I’ve been eating really clean and barely ate breads, pastas, potatoes, other meats, etc. Now I’m going to be eating meals that include more of those, just typical European meals. Obviously I’m going to be eating smaller portions of everything, and I’ll still be eating a lot of healthy food (for example: lots of fruit in the morning, salads, cooked veggies, chicken breast and salmon) but I’m not going to be as strict as I was before. 

So no more daily updates, because it just doesn’t seem right if I’m updating on a diet and fitness tumblr about how I ate gnocchi (which I did today, yum!). I’m still going to be following my workout plan and I’ll be exercising everyday, and going to the gym 3-4 times a week.

Okay so since I’ve been at a plateau for almost 2 weeks I had a cheat meal today to try to shock my metabolism or something. I enjoyed it but I’m a bit skeptical if it’s going to work or not.

Breakfast: Green tea. Half a grapefruit. About a cup and a half of cantaloupe, one kiwi and a handful of blueberries.

Lunch: One whole-wheat tortilla with hummus, three deli chicken breast slices, one tomato, a handful of alfalfa sprouts and a little honey dijon mustard. One small peach.

Dinner: A serving of cevapi (little minced meat sausages) with flatbread, chopped onions, ajvar (relish from red bell peppers) and kajmak (a cream, kinda like cheese?).

Workout today was Fire 30 and High & Tight, both of which I kinda like. I also went to the gym in the morning and did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes on the treadmill, which resulted in 600 calories burned.

I think today was a good day :) I had to up my calorie intake since I went to the gym. I didn’t really have a “real” dinner but I had a wrap which was delicious!

Breakfast: Green tea. Half a grapefruit. One whole-wheat tortilla with a tablespoon of peanut butter and some honey. A kiwi and a handful of blueberries.

Lunch: A salad with one piece of grilled chicken breast, a cup of romaine lettuce, a cup of spinach, one baby cucumber, two tablespoons of chickpeas and a few tablespoons of low-calorie catalina dressing.

Snack: Vanilla peach white tea. 4 Triscuit whole-wheat crackers with half a carrot, a tablespoon of roasted pine nuts hummus, three yellow plums and one small peach.

Dinner: One whole-wheat tortilla with a little hummus, two slices of tomato and basil oven roasted turkey breast, a little honey dijon mustard, one tomato and some alfalfa sprouts. One small peach and two yellow plums. 

Workout was Cardio Axe and Sculpt, but I didn’t feel like doing them at all. I still did them obviously but I think that my plateau is discouraging me. I’ve been at the same weight for almost two weeks after dropping 10 lbs in three weeks. Ugh.

Watching Real World now then off to sleep :)

Great day today :) I was dreading the workout but I did it like a champ haha. I also ate some yummy food. Tomorrow I’m going to the gym so I’m going to have to up my calorie intake.

Breakfast: Green tea. Half a grapefruit. One peach, one kiwi and two handfuls of blueberries.

Snack: Two yellow plums.

Lunch: One whole-wheat tortilla with a little hummus, two slices of tomato and basil oven roasted turkey breast, a handful of spinach, one tomato and a few teaspoons of honey dijon mustard. One small peach.

Snack: A dark cherry Chobani yogurt.

Dinner: A stir fry with one cup of baby shrimp, a handful of julienned carrot, a handful of snow peas, a handful of bean sprouts, a handful of cauliflower and some soy sauce. 

Snack: A bowl of cherries. Tetley mojito mint lime tea.

Workout today was Fire 55 EZ and Bum Bum. These are definitely not easy workouts so I didn’t go to the gym today. I did them separately and got a great workout each time! 

Drinking my tea now then off to sleep :)

Great day today! I definitely made up for yesterday. Ate well, went to the gym and killed my workout at home! I went grocery shopping and bought some fruit and then came home to find local fruit from a farm so now I have enough peaches and tiny yellow plums to last me weeks ;)

Breakfast: Green tea. One peach, one pear and one kiwi.

Lunch: One whole wheat tortilla with some hummus, two slices of tomato and basil oven roasted turkey breast, a handful of shredded romaine lettuce, half a tomato and a tablespoon of low-calorie caesar dressing. One red plum.

Snack: A pomegranate Chobani yogurt and one yellow plum.

Dinner: A piece of grilled salmon with grilled green beans and zucchini.

Snack: One small peach and three yellow plums (these are tiny, only a little bigger than a cherry). 

Workout today was Fire 30 and High & Tight. I did both of them with 100 % intensity and it felt great :) I also went to the gym this morning and did 30 minutes on the elliptical, and 30 minutes on treadmill, and burned 600 calories.

Going to sleep :) 

In all honesty, today was a little disappointing. I did my workout right after dinner and I felt so full and bloated I had to stop so many times because I felt like I was going to throw up.

Breakfast: Green tea. Half a grapefruit. One peach and one kiwi.

Snack: A bowl of cherries.

Lunch: One piece of grilled chicken breast, with a spinach salad with some romaine lettuce, one baby cucumber, one tomato and a few tablespoons of low-calorie catalina dressing.

Snack: A peach Chobani yogurt.

Dinner: A stir fry with about two cups of baby shrimp, a handful of julienned carrot, a handful of snow peas, a handful of bean sprouts and some soy sauce and sesame oil.

Workout today was Fire 45 and Cardio Axe. I did Cardio Axe before dinner, and Fire 45 right after. I had to stop so many times because I felt so sick and like I was going to throw up. Somehow I finished it but I’m so disappointed with myself. I’m definitely never eating right before a workout ever again.

Okay day today. I felt really lazy all day and I didn’t end up going to the gym but I guess it’s okay because I went 3 times this week. I also treated myself to low-fat frozen yogurt, and this time I didn’t feel guilty at all like last time. I know that I worked hard all week so I deserved it :)

Breakfast: Green tea. Half a grapefruit. Half a cantaloupe, seven strawberries and one kiwi.

Snack: A peach.

Lunch: One piece of grilled sea bass with a spinach salad with one baby cucumber, some green bell pepper and a few tablespoons of low-calorie catalina dressing. 

Dinner: One piece of grilled sea bass with one tomato, some green bell pepper and a little mustard. 

Snack: One cup of low-fat strawberry frozen yogurt.

Workout today was Cardio Axe and Sculpt, but since I didn’t end up going to the gym I did Fire 30 as well to get in some more cardio. I haven’t been able to do Cardio Axe all week because of my shin splints but they’re pretty much gone so I was able to do it today finally!

Today was good! I ate well and pushed hard while working out. I’m going to try to go to the gym early tomorrow and then go grocery shopping to get some yummy food.

Breakfast: Green tea. Half a grapefruit. Half a small cantaloupe, one kiwi, four strawberries and a handful of blueberries. 

Snack: A bowl of cherries.

Lunch: A salad with one piece of grilled chicken breast, romaine lettuce, a handful of spinach, one baby cucumber, some green bell pepper and a few tablespoons of low-calorie catalina dressing. 

Dinner: One piece of grilled salmon, a handful of cooked green beans, six cooked snow peas and one tomato.

I didn’t go to the gym today but my workouts were Fire 55 EZ and High & Tight. Fire 55 EZ is slowly becoming one of my favorites, it was intense but I did it without stopping! High & Tight was good too, I did it early so I could just relax later.

Gonna go to sleep early tonight :)

Good day today! There is so much fruit and veggies in my house I’m in paradise. :) My shins hurt a little less today which I think is thanks to the ice and stretching exercises I’ve been doing. 

Breakfast: Green tea. Half a grapefruit. About a cup and a half of cantaloupe, two strawberries, one kiwi and a handful of blueberries.

Lunch: One piece of grilled sea bass with a salad with romaine lettuce, some green bell pepper, one baby cucumber and a few tablespoons of low-calorie catalina dressing. 

Dinner: One piece of grilled sea bass, one cup of grilled spinach, one tomato, and one cooked corn on the cob.

Snack: One banana, half an apple and two tablespoons of all-natural peanut butter. Tetley mojito mint lime herbal tea.

Today’s workout was HIIT 20, Bum Bum, and Sculpt. I did Bum Bum before dinner, and Sculpt and HIIT 20 later on after dinner. I felt hungry after so I had a banana, apple and peanut butter. Yum :) I also went to the gym earlier in the day and did an hour on the elliptical and about 5 minutes on the stairclimber but my shins felt like they were being pinched so I stopped, but I burned 600 calories.

Drinking tea now before bed :)

Today was pretty much like yesterday. I didn’t have a real dinner again but I did my workout and went to the gym. My shins still hurt so I’ve been icing them and I’m not going to do any running until the pain goes away.

Breakfast: Green tea. One peach, one kiwi and two handfuls of blueberries.

Lunch: A salad with one piece of grilled chicken breast, romaine lettuce, one tomato, one baby cucumber, some green bell pepper and a few tablespoons of low-calorie catalina dressing.

Dinner: A strawberry Chobani yogurt, two cups of cantaloupe, one banana and about two tablespoons of all-natural peanut butter.

Workout today was High & Tight. I was supposed to do Cardio Axe but the moves hurt my legs so I’m going to do it another day when they don’t hurt anymore. I went to the gym too and did an hour on the elliptical and burned 600 calories.

Not a great day… but not a bad day. I think I have shin splints because the front of my shins hurt a little which I think is from running yesterday. I still worked out though but I didn’t go to the gym. Also, I ended up having a big lunch so I was too full for dinner so I didn’t have a proper meal.

Breakfast: Green tea. One peach, one kiwi and two handfuls of blueberries. 

Lunch: A stir fry with one cup of baby shrimp, a handful of julienned carrot, a handful of snow peas, a handful of bean sprouts and some soy sauce. 

Dinner: A black cherry Chobani yogurt. One homemade European-style donut. One apple with about two tablespoons of all-natural peanut butter. 

Workout today was HIIT 20, Stretch 10 and Bum Bum. I did Bum Bum after lunch and I think it’s getting a lot easier! After I treated myself to Chobani which I immediately fell in love with. Then after “dinner” I did the HIIT 20 which I liked because I gave it 100% and it was fast! I actually ate peanut butter on purpose before the workout so that I could get some more energy.

I think I’m going to go to bed early :)

Very good day today! :) I went to the gym after breakfast, and after I went grocery shopping and bought some fruits and veggies, AND Chobani yogurt. I know Chobani is a staple food for pretty much all fitblrs so I had wanted to try it for so long and now I finally will! I bought 4-peach, pomegranate, strawberry and black cherry. I was really full today though so I’ll probably try one tomorrow.

Breakfast: Green tea. One mango and one kiwi.

Lunch: One piece of grilled chicken breast, iceberg lettuce, one tomato, one half of a baby cucumber and low-calorie caesar dressing.

Dinner: A stir fry with about two cups of baby shrimp, a handful of julienned carrot, a handful of snow peas, a handful of bean sprouts and some soy sauce. (I got this idea from Seventeen magazine and it was so good! I’m going to be making this a lot more)

Workout today was Fire 45 and Stretch 10. It was really tough and I took two breaks. Last time I was hard on myself because of that but it’s okay if I take breaks, I still get an amazing workout. I also went to the gym earlier in the day and did 20 minutes on the elliptical, and 40 minutes on the treadmill (10 minute run, 10 minute intervals walking/running, 10 minute run, 10 minute intervals). Burned 600 calories in a little over an hour! 

Off to sleep :)

Today was a cheat day I guess. I ate a few things that I usually don’t so that was the bad part, but I ate a very healthy breakfast and dinner and had a good workout so hopefully that evens things out.

Breakfast: Green tea. One mango, one plum and one kiwi.

Lunch: Tetley vanilla bean chai tea. Three small pieces of homemade cheese pastry, one slice of prosciutto cotto and one tomato.

Dinner: One piece of grilled tilapia, a cup of cooked broccoli and a cup of cooked green beans. 

Snack: Two homemade donuts (European style).

Today’s workout was Fire 55 EZ and High & Tight. I did Fire 55 EZ before dinner and I was able to do the whole workout without taking any breaks! I was so tired and sweating buckets but I pushed through and finished it strong. I haven’t done High & Tight since last Sunday so I missed it a little haha. Tomorrow I’m going to go grocery shopping early and go to the gym around 12 or 1 pm.

Off to sleep :)

Not a good day today. I tried to up my calories but I think I overdid it. At lunch, I was completely full after eating the salad but I still ate half a bagel to get 200 more calories but I felt so full and bloated after.

Breakfast: Green tea. Two organic pancakes with a handful of blueberries.

Lunch: One piece of grilled chicken breast, romaine lettuce, half of a baby cucumber and a tablespoon of low-calorie caesar dressing. Half of a blueberry bagel with Philadelphia cream cheese.

Dinner: 7 pieces of homemade cheese ravioli with sage butter and one tomato.

Snack: Half a plum.

Workout today was only Bum Bum but I did Fire 30 too. Bum Bum wasn’t too bad, probably because it’s the third and final time I have to do it this week. I did it in my backyard and since it’s pretty hot outside I was drenched in sweat. After I did Bum Bum I wanted to do more cardio so I decided to do the Fire 30 which is one of my favorites because it’s only 30 minutes long, challenging so I that get a great cardio workout, but not too intense that I need to take a break. 

I just took a nice cool shower and I’m off to sleep :)

I’ve almost run out of fruit, so eating today wasn’t the best. I ran out of my multigrain bread too so I’ve been eating bagels. Ugh. Oh and I had absolutely no motivation to wake up early and go to the gym. Lovely.

Breakfast: Green tea. Half of a blueberry bagel with a little Philadelphia cream cheese, one peach and a handful of blueberries.

Lunch: Half of a cinnamon raisin bagel with one slice of prosciutto cotto, some lettuce and one tomato on the side. 

Dinner: One piece of grilled salmon, one handful of grilled green beans and spinach, and half of a baby cucumber.

Snack: Vanilla-peach white tea. 

Workout was 45 EZ, Stretch 10 and Sculpt. Personally, I think Fire 45 EZ is the hardest workout out of all the Turbo Fire workouts. I think it’s because it’s the only one with no fire drills and therefore no one-minute breaks. This time I took 2 breaks but I had sweat dripping off me during the whole workout. Sculpt was okay but I was so tired from doing the Turbo Fire workout.

So excited to go to sleep :)
